QBO Subscription Engagement Letter

Dear Client,

Thank you for selecting Bookkeeping Academy Online as your Quickbooks Online Subscription Provider. To ensure a complete understanding of our engagement, this letter will confirm the scope of our involvement.

Bookkeeping Academy Online purchases subscriptions to Quickbooks Online at a wholesale rate.  By purchasing your quickbooks subscription through Bookkeeping Academy Online, we will offer you a monthly subscription to Quickbooks Online at the discounted rate of either $40 or $60 a month (depending on the product you choose at checkout).

What We Will Do

We will buy your subscription to QuickBooks each month on your behalf. We will maintain your subscription until a specified date or until you terminate this agreement through written or verbal notification with Bookkeeping Academy Online.

What We Will Not Do

We will not review, verify, clean up, or interact with your QuickBooks account in any way. We will not assist in your financial recordkeeping including entering deposits, checks, or other transactions. We will not reconcile your bank accounts and credit card accounts. We will not enter any information into your Quickbooks file. We will not make any audit or verification of your data and Quickbooks file. We do not at any time provide legal services of any type. We have not been requested to discover errors, misrepresentations, fraud, illegal acts, or theft. Therefore, we have not included any procedures designed or intended to discover such acts, and you agree we have no responsibility to do so. This agreement does not assure or pertain to any Bookkeeping or Accounting services that Bookkeeping Academy Online may provide.

Privacy Policy

Following the requirements of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act of 2000, our privacy policy is that we do not disclose nonpublic personal information about you to anyone else, except as permitted by law. If you become an inactive client, we will still adhere to the privacy policy. While we will make no attempt to assist or review in your financial record keeping- by signing up for a Quickbooks subscription through Bookkeeping Academy Online you will provide us with access to your Quickbooks Online account.

Services Outside the Scope of this Letter

You may request that we perform additional services at a later date that are not covered by this engagement letter. If this occurs, we will communicate with you about the scope and estimated costs for additional services.

Fees

We will provide your monthly QuickBooks subscription for the cost of either $40 or $60 due on the 1st of every month. For your convenience and ours, we will enroll you in auto-payments.

Dispute Resolution

If any dispute arises among the parties to this agreement, they agree first to try, in good faith, to settle the disputes by mediation administered by an association such as the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Mediation Rules. All unresolved disputes shall then be decided by final and binding arbitration in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of an association such as AAA. Fees charged by any mediators, arbitrators or an association shall be shared equally by the parties. Should we prevail in mediation, we will be entitled to recover our costs which will be based upon the amount of time required to prepare for and attend the mediation at standard billing rates plus out-of-pocket expenses.
